Christopher Micaud is a photographer and visual artist whose work has evolved over more than three decades at the intersection of fashion, portraiture and fine art. His photographs are rooted in a strong sensitivity to light, form and composition, with the human figure often at the center of the work.

Born into a family with strong connections to art and European culture, Micaud began photographing at an early age. His professional career developed through fashion, beauty and editorial photography in New York, Paris, Milan and London. His work has appeared in Vogue, The New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair and Marie Claire, with clients including Christian Dior, L’Oréal and Lancôme.

His fine-art work continues to explore the relationship between the observed and the constructed. Working with light, shadow, fabric, gesture and abstraction, he creates images that move beyond traditional photography to explore atmosphere, form and human presence.

Micaud studied photography at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. His photographic archive spans the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s through his current work, providing an unusually long visual continuity between his commercial, editorial and personal photography.
